SnapChat's Global Consumer Report on Augmented Reality looks at the emerging behaviors that are becoming more mainstream for the Snapchat generation. The usage, attention index and social sharing of AR experiences are all pretty impressive, even tailored by the fact that novelty tends to overweight early engagements. This version of the metaverse - as phones interact with digital and physical things, is likely to emerge before the full on VR versions gain traction.
